What if you knew the date, time and place of your death?

What would I say?

At what point in His life on Earth did Jesus know he would be crucified? Jesus knew he was going to be crucified before he was even born, even before the foundation of the world. Jesus' death was the final sacrifice that paid the debt of sin for all if told in (Hebrews 9:28)

'so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.'

Hebrews 9:28

Most of us have been multiple people over the years, and as we grow and gain more life experience and knowledge, our answers to life's questions can and should change. And the fact is, it does not matter what I would have said; what matters is today's answer.

Today’s answer for Kevin is easy. I would stand before my family and friends and say this. Thank you, Jesus, for taking my sins and saving my sole and thank you, God, for giving me your children to raise your wife to love and love me, your roofs to live under, your clothes to wear, and your food to feed me and your word, love, and grace to fill me because everything great in my life is yours, not mine! You gave it to me for a short time. Thank you, God, for being there for me all my life, especially when my back was turned on you and even more so when I finally came back to you, accepting me home with grace and open arms. I will now come to be with you eternally with your blessings.

I suspect I may have a little more to say but I think this makes the point at least it does for me.

Luke 20:25

So again, what would you say other than to the crowd around you? I love you.
